Attention ESY families!! During ESY, The Eli Whitney Museum visited our students 3 times to create huge bubbles and bubble prints. On August 17th and 18th from 10:00-1:00 at the Eli Whitney Barn, our students' work will be displayed. We hope you can join us!
The Westies on Wheels backpack and school supply giveaway will be held on August 19th from 11 am until 1 pm at West Haven High School. All West Haven Public Schools students are eligible to receive a backpack and school supplies while supplies last.

Extended School Year (ESY) has been canceled for Tuesday, July 16th, and Wednesday, July 17th, but the program will be extended into next week. The additional dates are now Monday, July 22nd, and Tuesday, July 23rd.

On Thursday, the West Haven Fire Department visited the Savin Rock Summer School students and brought along Danny the Firedog!
Officer Marchitto from the West Haven Police Department and K9 Ado visited the Savin Rock Summer School students on Tuesday. Students were engaged in a demonstration by Officer Marchitto and Ado. The kids were able to pet Ado as well.

Savin Rock hosted a chorus concert and an art show last week! Students sang songs and created pictures about the weather. The artwork featured the northern lights. What a great job by all these talented students!
