Taylor attended preschool at Mackrille, went to Seth Haley from 2003-2006, and after moving around a bit, moved back to West Haven in 2014 to finish high school at WHHS, where she graduated in 2015! Thank you, Taylor, for your continued dedication to West Haven Public Schools!

A large map of Connecticut came to Savin Rock for third graders to explore! Students identified geographic features, bodies of water, and cities throughout Connecticut when exploring the large map.

Savin Rock invited the Regional Water Company to come in and talk with fourth graders about the problems with pollution. The presenter taught the students about different forms of pollution that may affect our water, and she brought in a mock fish tank to show them the harm that pollution causes. The students were engaged in the lesson and learned a lot!

Third graders read the book "Balloons Over Broadway" and then worked on a STEM project to create their own floats. Students then paraded around the school for other students to see their hard work. 🎈🦃
Fourth graders celebrated Friendsgiving on Tuesday. 🦃 They read an article about Friendsgiving, completed Thanksgiving themed math problems, made turkeys, wrote about what they're grateful for, and designed their own parade floats.
