Third grade teachers at Savin Rock participated in "Hearts Around the World," a challenge to receive a Valentine from all 50 states with a bonus of receiving one from out of the country. We are very grateful to everyone who sent Valentine's cards!

The West Haven Fire Department held their Annual Fire Prevention Art Contest which the fourth graders participated in under the direction of art teacher, Mrs. Jacobson. Jasper of room 23 won first place and Mia of room 19 won second place! Jasper also won first place for the New Haven County Fire Prevention Art Contest. Congratulations to the two winners and all students who participated!
